Ten on Tuesday - 10 Reasons To Love Bacon.

I must chuckle...Carole has finally hit upon a topic that I can't associate with knitting...though I'm sure someone more awake and caffeinated will come up with something.  Bacon is truly food of the gods, so here are my Ten Reasons to Love Bacon.

  1. It's crunchy.
  2. It's salty (salty and crunchy are my two favorite taste sensations).
  3. It tastes wonderful with cheeseburgers (a big favorite food of mine).
  4. It makes eggs taste like something besides...eggs (copious amounts of salt and pepper are also needed, but the bacon helps a LOT!).
  5. It's wonderful with mac and cheese (another big favorite).
  6. It's small and cooks up quickly in the microwave.
  7. Fried hominy with bacon...comfort food of my Appalachian ancestors.
  8. It makes stews taste more rich and hearty.
  9. It's good for enticing a finicky dog to eat.
  10. A little goes a long way.
Bacon...yum.........
